Pressure Washing
They sound the same, but they are two different tools for two different jobs. Using the wrong one is how homeowners end up with etched concrete or water damage behind their siding.
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast dirt off hard, durable surfaces. It is right for concrete driveways, sidewalks, and paver patios. It is the wrong call for siding, roofs, and screens.
Soft washing uses low pressure plus a professional cleaning solution that dissolves algae, mildew, and mold at the source, then rinses away. It is safe for house siding, stucco, painted wood, shingle and tile roofs, and screen enclosures — and because it kills the organism rather than knocking off the surface layer, results last longer.
Hard flat ground surfaces: pressure wash. Anything on your house, roof, or a delicate surface: soft wash.
